Clarifications

I really want to thank everyone who has followed me here from my previous blog.  But I feel like I need to make a few things more clear.  Many of you have left comments or otherwise contacted me about amigurumi patterns.  And a few readers has asked for information about making my new dollies.  So I need to stress that my work is going in an entirely new direction.  My pattern shop will stay open but nothing new will be added and I have no plans to offer specific tutorials concerning my new techniques.  I completely understand that this post will cause me to loose readers.  And I apologize to those of you who are disappointed.  But this is the right thing for me to do.  I am fortunate enough to have loving spouse who supports my art and we are in a happy position of only needing his income.   So by all means don't feel bad if you stop reading my blog.  But for those of you who continue to visit, I hope to give you an interesting glimpse into my new pursuits.
Best,
Beth

Your new doll looks beautifull! She will be inspiring for a lot of people. Maybe you will loose some readers, but you will gain new ones.
Funny that you use paper towels to make patterns. I thought I was the only funny one to do that.
Keep up the good new work!

Your work is inspiring on its own, whether you publish patterns or not. I'm glad you'll keep posting photos of your new stuff!

You might want take a look at Maggie Iacono's work (If you haven't already). (http://maggiemadedolls.com/underneathitall.php). She does wonderful felt dolls too, with a ball jointed system. There are plenty of how to make felt doll books out there.

I really liked your crochet amigurumi and will miss it. It inspired me to start crocheting again. Being a crafter, I understand about wanting to "change-it-up". Your new stuff looks great!

I'm super in love with all of your work. I used to make amigurumi quite a bit, but fell in love with needle felting, so I understand the need to change it up. I'll be following your work as long as you keep creating. You are awesome at everything you do. I have to say that I probably love your new doll the most. I can only wish to be half as good as you as an artist. Keep up the good work! You are a true inspiration:)

I absolutely adore your dolls, whether they are Amigurumi or sewn! I will miss the little tutorials, because they were really insightful and interesting, but I can understand why you would not have time nor the desire to want to show case some "trade secrets"! XD

I will continue following you, because not only do I love your artsty-crafts, but also because you are one of the only people I've known to respond to blog comments, to be thoughtful and inspiring and because I just love your personality! You have a great voice, a great talent and I am happy to continue being a follower! <3

Dear Beth,
I learned chrocheting JUST for making "Strawbeary" for my mother's birthday. My grandma helped me and we had a great time.

I would lie if I'd say, that I don't miss your cute chrocheted characters. I was exited about new patterns. But you wouldn't be an artist if you wouldn't develope. Letting things go, starting new ones- this is how creativitiy and perfectionism work. Nothing to feel sorry about!!!

I love your new dolls by the way!!!

Just keep being yourself and follow your heart and everything will fall into place!

Hugs,
Lana
